Silkworm

Overview

Silkworm is a visual branding project for the indie-jazz band Silkworm, featuring both an album cover and a custom band logo. Working collaboratively with the band, I explored aesthetic direction, visual tone, and brand identity through an iterative design process—producing concepts, gathering feedback, and refining until the final result felt precise and authentic. The completed cover incorporates my own film photography, digitally altered in Photoshop to evoke a psychedelic-indie atmosphere, while the band’s logo, which was designed in ProCreate, is seamlessly integrated into the composition. Colors and shapes within the logo draw from band history and shared experiences, resulting in a cohesive visual identity that reflects their music and personality.
