Chimp Champ Chomp

Overview

Chimp Champ Chomp is a web-based take on Tic Tac Toe featuring playful, cartoon-style chimps and bananas. While the artwork gives the game personality, the project’s core focus was implementing functional game logic in JavaScript. Players can choose between a single-player mode where they face a computer opponent and a two-player mode for local play. Designing the computer logic pushed my JavaScript skills at the time, resulting in an AI opponent that’s surprisingly competitive. The themed visuals help elevate the simple mechanics into a fuller experience, reflecting my interest in making even small projects feel thoughtful, engaging, and immersive.
